Hunt trophy Whitetail on approximately 6,000 acres of private land with corn, beans, clover, and alfalfa. The heavy cover and plenty of funnels is the key to taking trophy class whitetail. Quality genetics are in this area with excellent opportunities at large numbers of bucks in 150 class. There has been 180 & B & C class bucks taken. Treestands are in place, but you can bring your own, if you wish. Rattling is very effective here.

Hunt bow, shot gun, and muzzleloader. Semi-guided. Food and lodging provided. Located in S. Central Iowa and N. Missouri. Iowa is a lottery - Missouri is across the counter sale. Also, spring turkey - fall pheasant.

Iowa is now #1 in numbers of B & C bucks taken in last 10 years. They have a quality hunt, and re-booking runs approx. 80%.

Hunt #2

This outfitter is located in Van Buren County in the town of Cantril. You will hunt private farm with food and lodging included. Their land spreads over 20 miles - which keeps the pressure off. All hunts are done from treestands. They have hunts for bow, shot gun, and muzzleloader. There is one big problem with this this very good state for deer hunting. It's their lottery or draw. They average about 35% on the draw. If you don't get drawn the 1st yr. you automatically get 1 preference point & get drawn the next year. There is one good thing about this - if you don't get drawn - the outfitter has private land in Missouri a few miles away and you can hunt there if you wish at a reduced price.
